The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), IUB organized an academic outreach program at Kushtia supported by IEEE IUB Student Branch , IEEE Photonics Society IUB Student Branch Chapter and IEEE Robotics & Automation Society IUB Student Branch Chapter, aiming to inspire and empower students through an interactive session and a hands-on boot camp on robotics and automation.

The event took place at:

1.POLICE LINE'S SCHOOL AND COLLEGE
2.KUSHTIA GOVT. COLLEGE
3.KUSHTIA ISLAMIA COLLEGE
4.KUSHTIA ADARSHA DEGREE MAHABIDYALAYA

This initiative aimed to inspire and educate the young minds of the college in the fascinating fields of engineering and technology. The participation of enthusiastic students eager to learn about cutting-edge technology and its applications was very inspiring. The program was conducted under the guidance of our honorable Branch mentor, Dr. Abdur Razzak, with the esteemed presence of IEEE IUB Student Branch Counselor, Dr. Mustafa Habib Chowdhury. The outreach team to Kushtia also included Mr. Md. Fuad Hosen, Outreach Officer of the Admission & Financial Aid Office of IUB who played an important role educating the students about IUB's admission policy, scholarship policy and campus life.

The highlight of the outreach program was an interactive session led by the Prof. Dr. Abdur Razzak, who shared his profound knowledge and experiences with the attending students. During the session, Prof. Razzak shared inspiring anecdotes from his own journey and motivated the students to set ambitious goals, work hard, and overcome challenges to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. The engaging and thought-provoking discourse left a lasting impact on the young minds, encouraging them to consider a future in engineering and related disciplines.

Following the interactive session, the IEEE IUB Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) organized a hands-on boot camp to provide practical training to the students in basic robotics skills. The boot camp aimed to nurture their passion for robotics, introduce them to key concepts, and provide them with an opportunity to work on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.

The IEEE IUB Student Branch's outreach program in Kushtia proved to be a resounding success through inspiring students to pursue careers in engineering and technology. The interactive session with Prof. Dr. Abdur Razzak, Dr. Mustafa Habib Chowdhury, Mr. Md. Fuad Hosen, the hands-on boot camp by IEEE IUB Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and hard work of all the IEEE IUB student volunteers were instrumental in providing the students with valuable insights and practical demonstrations of the wonders of engineering. The program not only highlighted the importance of IEEE's role in fostering technological advancement but also showcased the dedication and commitment of the IEEE IUB Student Branch in promoting STEM education and empowering the next generation of innovators.
