Dept. of EEE,IUB Organized an engaging Industrial Tour at Energypac Industrial Park, Sreepur, Gazipur,supported by IEEE Industry Application Society IUB Student Branch Chapter.
Students from the EEE432(Power Plant Engineering) and EEE419 ( Power System - II) course, participated in this tour.
4 Faculties from The Department of EEE, Dr.Shahriar Khan, MS. Navila Rahman Nadi, Dr. Mustafa Habib Chowdhury and Mr. Istiak Ahmed were present with the students on the tour.
Learning outcomes from the tour:
1.Students learned the basic principles of generators with real life demonstration from the industry experts of EnergyPac Generation ltd. with their newly launched Generator named 'Glad'.
2. Students learned the manufacturing process of different types of power system protection devices such as Circuit Breakers, ATS, MCCB etc. from real life demonstrations from the industry experts of EnergyPac power Generation Ltd.
This Tour aimed to give the students hands-on experience in the field of generator manufacturing and protection device manufacturing with the help of expert Engineers from Energypac Industrial Park.
This tour is aimed to build a strong Industry Academia Collaboration with the students of Department of EEE, IUB with the Industry experts from Energypac Power Generation Ltd. and focuses on future employment and internship opportunities with Energypac Power Generation Ltd. and the students of Department of EEE, IUB.
