IEEE IUB Student Branch (IEEE IUB SB) recently organized and hosted a "Special IEEE Session" with Keynote Speaker Prof. Saifur Rahman, CEO & President of IEEE as part of the 'Preserve Planet Earth' International Climate Conference at the IUB Auditorium on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. The session commenced with Dr. Mustafa Habib Chowdhury, Counsellor of IEEE IUB SB who served as the Master of Ceremony for the entire event.
Prof. Saifur Rahman, CEO & President of IEEE, delivered an engaging keynote speech, emphasizing IEEE's commitment to advancing technology and fostering innovation globally. Throughout the event, participants were encouraged to share their expertise and network with peers and influential figures. The gathering concluded with IEEE reaffirming its dedication to technological advancement, aiming to shape a brighter future through technology. This event exemplified IEEE's unwavering commitment to driving technological progress with visionary leadership and a strong global community.
Mr. A Quaiyum Khan, Founder Trustee of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and Chittagong Independent University (CIU), and convenor of the 'Preserve Planet Earth' International Climate Conference graciously participated in the "Special IEEE Session" and gave the closing remarks. The "Special IEEE Session" saw the participation of faculty members and students from over 8 universities. We cordially welcomed over 100 guest students and respective faculty members from NSU,BUBT,DIU, DUET, Green University Bangladesh, BRAC and AIUB among others.
Additionally, the successfully conducted "Special IEEE Session" showed IEEE IUB SB's commitment to providing an excellent educational and networking environment for its members and the general student population of SETS, IUB. Additionally, the "Special IEEE Session" also highlighted the dedication and organizational capacity of IEEE IUB SB to successfully hold international level events in IUB for both the local IUB audience and also the larger audience on the national stage.
